Mysterious Murders, NPCs Acting Strange
The Armor Disposition system in OOO 1.32 RC3 can sometimes cause NPCs to act strangely toward you (overly aggressive, afraid, or friendly) depending on what type of armor you're wearing. This can even sometimes cause you to get an accidental murder count (for killing a bandit or other villain who was mysteriously feeling friendly toward you). In particular this is a problem when using OOO 1.32 RC3 along with other mods that alter the aggression/confidence of enemies, such as Mart's Monster Mod. For the next release of OOO, the Armor Disposition system will be disabled by default since there's no surefire way to avoid problems with it.
In the meantime, you can avoid the problem by disabling the Armor Disposition system yourself. In the console, type:
StopQuest OOODispositionToPlayer
Inebriation Stat Damage
Beer, wine, mead, etc. in OOO 1.32 RC3 use a modified version of Lap's Inebriation system. Most of the time this system works great, but it can cause semi-permanent stat damage if you go to sleep while the effects are still active. If this happens, you can restore your damaged stats by drinking the SAME TYPE of alcohol ("hair of the dog that bit you") and waiting for the effect to run out normally, without resting. However, if you don't remember what you drank or can't get any more of it, then you can download the Hangover Remedy fix:
After loading the fix, go see Ogier Georick at the Main Ingredient in the Imperial City Market District. He sells a special Georick's Hangover Remedy for 25 gold. It should remove any lingering effects of the evil booze (his remedy contains hairs from every known dog in OOO, so it should work for any type of hangover).
